Eligibility, request review, transfer initiation and final receipt are different clocks. What source-board timestamps can and cannot measure.

Prop firm payout time depends on the exact account policy, review stage and payment route. A first-reward eligibility period, an approval estimate and a bank-transfer estimate measure different intervals. There is no single duration that applies to every program.
FTMO's CFD reward FAQ lists a request stage, an account review and payment after approved invoice information. Its conditions are specific to the product described there. A stated interval for one step is not an end-to-end duration for every FTMO account.
Topstep's policy separates internal approval from payment-method estimates and says estimates exclude weekends and holidays. Available routes depend on location. Check the current account path, region, cutoff and receiving institution rather than reading “instant” or “daily” as a promise from initial eligibility to receipt. A defensible comparison would need linked request and receipt timestamps, the same stage definitions, account path, route and period, plus a defined sample that includes pending requests. Looking only at completed payments can hide requests still waiting. A median also does not tell you how long a particular request will take.
PropPayouts does not hold a complete linked request-to-receipt dataset. Its leaderboard and weekly report describe reported activity, not independently measured payment speed. A transfer timestamp or a change in a firm's aggregate does not reveal when that recipient submitted a request.
Keep the request reference, exact policy version, amount/currency and each available timestamp. Ask which stage is pending and which party handles it. Once a transfer has a reference, distinguish an investigation of that transfer from the earlier eligibility or approval decision.
For public research, compare a maintained profile such as Lucid Trading with the methodology. Missing tracker activity does not establish that an individual request was refused or unpaid. Keep private payment details out of public evidence submissions.
A comparison worksheet for payout reports: match exact dates, source scope, units and freshness before calculating a change or a ranking.
